5 books every woman should read

final

I tend to spend hours in Barnes and Noble sipping on a Starbucks and getting lost in the self-help section and the occasional magazine area. I mean HELLO who doesn’t love Glamour magazine! I feel very blessed to be a woman in this day and age, more and more women are dominating in social media, building their own businesses out of their homes, and flourishing in all aspects of their lives. These women are forever learning and growing, and one of the easiest ways to do this is by opening up a book. Knowledge is power! Why wouldn’t you want to take advantage of all that you have to offer this world? If you struggle to read, another great alternative is podcasts. Here are my five favorite books, currently.

You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero

This book is one you can read over and over again. Jen not only will make you laugh, but gives an insight on how to start living your awesome life and stop doubting yourself. If you are ready for a new chapter in your life and need an extra push, this book is for you.

The Go-Giver by Bob Burg

My very favorite book that I own, not only would I put it in this month’s favorites it is forever my go-to book. The formula to this book gives you an entirely new perspective on what success truly means. If you are a hustler, a go-getter and you find yourself at a complete standstill in life personally or financially, BUY this book! The true formula for success, in my opinion, is giving to others!

Self Made by Nely Galan

I just recently read this book and had to put it in this month’s favorite! Nely not only inspires women personally but touches on financial self-reliance. Isn’t it funny that if we celebrate a win we are bragging, and if we talk about money there is a taboo to it? Thank you Nely for saying it how it is!

Sex in the City by Candace Bushnell

If you are 30 and above you probably own this book, watched the series and tried to identify which character you are? I always kind of thought I was a Samantha and Carrie combo. Grab some popcorn and a martini and read this book!

I feel bad about my neck by Nora Ephron

This book is a hilarious take on women aging, although smile lines can be annoying you can’t help but laugh your way throughout this book.
