Hi dolls!

Happy Tuesday, I wanted to share with you how I style my fav pair of shorts, 3 different ways! If you have an item in your closet that you absolutely love, I challenge you to pull it out and try to style it in different ways, if you feel stumped take it to Pinterest to get some INSPO for that item! For instance, let’s say your fav item in your closet is a pair of skinny white jeans, start searching for different ways to style them in the search bar and create a board for that item. I think you would be so shocked as to what you can find on Pinterest! This is one of my go-to spots to grab some fab inspo & I have a sooooo many boards!

Ok, let’s talk about how I styled these shorts, which BTW you can find them here. They fit amazing and your ass is completely covered which for me is something I love the older I get, I want to feel chic and sexy, and short shorts just don’t do it for me anymore. I found these on a whim shopping the Nordstrom sale and of course, they weren’t part of the sale! True story, I split my jeans I was wearing that day in the dressing room. I had to find the attendant to take off the sensor on these shorts so I could wear them home! Funny right? Like, are you F-ing kidding me! Yes, that happened, but I love the shorts so kind of a win!

1. KEEP IT CLASSIC

You can never go wrong with a white button-up, this is by far one of my very favorite looks. I think it adds a bit of chic but still fun with a pair of shorts. A classic nude pump goes perfect with this look or even paired with some mules. I added a brooch to GLAM it up. It’s a Gucci dupe and I found a similar one here. This look is polished and almost has a European clean-cut feel to it. For this look I wanted the Brooch to be the main focal point so I pulled my hair back off of my face into a tight pony and wore small diamond studs to ensure I wasn’t taking away from the brooch. If you have crazy lion-isk hair you know to well, how the hair can take over the entire look really quick! It can have a mind of it’s own!

2. SHE’S WITH THE BAND

Ok, I’m not with the band but honest to GOD I want to be with the band. On my list for 2019 is to start playing the drums. Random I know, but my love for music is beyond! My father plays the drums, and my great grandmother was a musician. I told my husband he might have a full-blown star on his hands and that he and our two Yorkies can travel the world with me when I perform. CAN YOU SAY DELUSIONAL, can’t a girl dream???? What I think has happened is I’ve watched a Star is Born one too many times!

Sorry, back to shorts! This is so simple to recreate, pair a graphic T  with a good pair of denim shorts and add some oversized sunnies. I’ve rounded up some chic graphic tees for you. As far as shoes, I prefer a closed toe look; I’m all about a good pair of boots that bring in a bit of a western/rocker look, the ones I’m wearing you can find here.

3. DATE NIGHT

This is such an easy look to put together for date night or just a night out with your girlfriends. Any duster will work to pull this together; it’s amazing when you look in your closet and pull out an outfit that you thought would never work, this was the case with this outfit for me. I recently shopped the Zara semi-annual sale and scored the one I’m wearing in this pic. However, it sold out quick! The good news is I found one very similar that is soooooo gorg, you can find it here.

For nights out I like to add a bit of OH LA LA effect so I always add a statement earring. Personally, I love gold for Summer. I think it pairs beautifully on the skin, giving you a bit of a glow. Baublebar always comes through with some amazing statement earrings, I found these pair that I thought were to die for, very similar to the ones I’m wearing you can find them here.
