Let the Glam Begin!
Isn’t it so great that we can have a glass of champs and shop at the same time?! I mean, I use to do this in stores when I lived in Las Vegas,(Yes you can bring drinks into a mall, how great is that) however I guess it’s frowned upon to do this in California. As a new wife, I really don’t want to explain a mishap drinking while shopping here at South Coast Plaza to my hubby. If you aren’t here in SoCal, let me just say South Coast Plaza is the very best mall EVER! It’s worth an Orange County visit.
This month’s beauty must-haves are soo soo good! Ok, even though I have it listed as #6 below, it totally needs to be the first beauty glam item discussed! I’ve been using Naked Palettes for the longest time, and I wasn’t sure if I could pull off their new Heat palette. You know those women who can pull off any color and look amazing?!
Ya, that’s not me I actually can look somewhat like a clown!
The good news is this palette is FIRE and too gorgeous, the pigment is on another level and stays all throughout the night.I can’t imagine a woman this wouldn’t look good on. BTW the color scorched in this palette is so beautiful on the eyelid! It’s def worth the $54 purchase. Because this is a warmer palette its a great transition into our Fall season.
If you are active on social media, you are probably using or have heard of Ouai! I’m so skeptical of hair products, but I can honestly say this line is BOMB. Ok, I don’t think BOMB is cool to say anymore. Anyways, I purchased the hair oil (Smells AHHHmazing) thinking I could create a sexy Kim K wet beach wave look although I looked more like a wet rag doll. I guess I need more practice! Lol
Don’t be a Flake and try Soap & Glory’s luxurious products at a fraction of the price. This company sent me some goodies a few months ago, and now I’m hooked on their products. You can find them at Target, I use the exfoliant, and it smells too good!
How did I not know about Blankety lipstick? I think I’m a snob when it comes to Mac I always roll up to the counters, spitting out my list of things I need + paired with my 6 refills for a new lipstick. Recently they had a campaign for nudes, and there was a beautiful lip pic that I so needed deets on. The Mac artist had told me the shade and obv left me somewhat dumbfounded that I did not know of Blankety! I love it, great nude with a hint of pink. It’s on the cooler shade!
Exclusive to Sephora is Urban Decay’s Velevetizer. I really wanted to try it hands on so I went to Sephora and it was completely sold out. I ended up purchasing online with my Fast Flash Shipping, Thank you Sephora!!!! I used it this past weekend on a date night with the hubby, and it was complete magic. It completely filled in all of my pores and left such a smooth final glam finish.
I love Billion Dollar Brows especially their Brow Butter pomade. I mean, this company deserves a round of applause for their genius name. Who doesn’t want to have brows that look like a billion, I do! One of my favorite words to use is Butter, hence my dogs’ name. I was naturally drawn to this product, but the name isn’t the only thing great, this works wonders shaping your brows. It comes with a mirror, angled brush and the pomade. I love that the color doesn’t pull any warmth if you love cooler tones for brows, this is a Must and won’t disappoint. It’s listed as #7 on the pic above. P.S. if you read my blog mama, I bought you one! It will be sent to you August 15th. xx
Tarte Clay Stick Foundation is a fab product; although I still need to purchase a shade darker. My girlfriend told me about this and I’m so happy that she did! You know you have good girlfriends when they tell you about their beauty tricks! This foundation leaves a smooth finish with a small amount of a dewy-ness to it. I love that I can throw it in my purse for a touchup as well.
Well, that’s all I’ve got for beauty must-haves for now! In the meantime don’t forget to subscribe. All of my BFF’s via email will get first access to my upcoming beauty giveaway for this month.
