Fitness to Street


A great workout is never a regret until you realize what a hot mess you might look like if you have to run errands after. Here are a few tips to take your post workout to the streets.

Switch Bag

I always have a spare bag in the trunk of my car, with a few necessities as well as an extra pair of sneaks. I spend most of my days running errands, and if you are a free bird like myself, you know that being organized is soooo crucial, to not be as scatter-brained.

By having a bag placed in your trunk you are setting yourself up for success for any situation. I don’t know about you, but after a workout, I feel like a million bucks, like I’ve just hit the lottery. This may not be the case. However my endorphins are high, and I don’t always feel like going home. Luckily a packed bag makes it super easy to transition into my street wear right after.




Thanks to the hair gods for making dry shampoo, I mean, seriously if you are not on the dry shampoo kick you need to get on board. My girlfriend sent me a sample of Living Prof Dry Shampoo; I’ve been hooked on this product ever since. I’m all about a great scent and let me just say it will make your hair smell AHHHmazing and most importantly not a hot sweaty mess. Another great shampoo that is more affordable is Tresemme Dry Shampoo that you can snag here for $5.99!

I also love a great hat to distract from my hair altogether; I’ve had this hat for years, and it will forever be a staple in my closet.



If you are a sweaty betty like myself, thank the Lord for layering. Moto jackets are here to stay, and they instantly add a cool statement to any outfit. You actually can do so much with a moto jacket and still make it look feminine. Believe it or not, I recently threw on this black jacket with a floral dress, and I loved the look. If you are in need of a great jacket to add to your wardrobe here is the one I’m  wearing, and yes I’m a repeat offender with this one. If you want a softer look, this  NYC Blank jacket is super cute for Spring.


-The hair tuck is a trend that I love. I always do this with most jackets I throw on, it makes it look effortless and pulls the look together. –



When in doubt add accessories: a scarf, jewelry or a great purse. I always go to this small  LV crossbody, the gold statements on it are eye catching, and it’s just the right size for lip gloss, my phone, and wallet. Accessories can play up any look day or night!







Lastly, I always keep extra lipgloss (and lip liner HAHA) in almost all of my bags, especially in my switch bag. A little lip gloss goes a long way when out and about. I personally feel prettier and a little bit more put together. If you are looking for a natural gloss with a pop of color, NYX Butter Glosses are soooo good.
