I admit it when October comes around; I pack my house with candles, pumpkins, and the occasional pumpkin spiced latte #PSL, yes I’m basic. Although I love the holidays, I associate it with heavy carbs and extra unwanted weight gain. Well, that’s not always the case and here is a smoothie recipe you need to add into your morning lineup.

Loaded with Vitamin A to help improve your vision

Helps boosts your immune system

Loaded with potassium to give the nutrients your body need

Aids in weight loss with only 49 calories per cup

Packed with iron to help promote fertility

Skinny Vanilla Pumpkin Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Silk Unsweetened almond milk

½ cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

1 teaspoon honey, agave nectar, or sweetener of choice

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 medium banana

6 ice cubes

Cinnamon Sticks- Optional

DIRECTIONS:

Pulse all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.  Did I mention that this smoothie is under 100 calories? YASSSSSS!
