Glowing skin is major goals. And one of the ways to achieve this is through diet. When we purify our diets, we purify our skin from the inside out. Here is one of our favorite smoothies for radiant, beautiful skin.
¾ cups unsweetened almond milk
¾ cups water
½ teaspoon spirulina
1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
1 teaspoon flaxseed
Add all ingredients and blend. If you don’t have a blender I highly suggest a Nutribullet it will last you for years. If you invest in anything, it should ALWAYS be your health.
The WHY behind this Glowing Smoothie:
The spirulina in this smoothie is great skin food as it contains B vitamins, as well as vitamins A, C, E and K, zinc, copper, and iron. These nutrients tone the skin and add to the glow!
The avocado is rich in healthy fats as well as carotenoids, which help to improve the skin from the inside out by protecting your skin from free radicals.
The flaxseed contains omega 3 fatty acids, which are ideal for minimizing skin irritation and inflammation, helping with overall complexion.
